Eagle's
Nest Outfitting is based about 20 miles east of the town of
Meeker, Colorado up the White River on the Flat Tops Trail
Scenic Byway. We provide deluxe drop camps or
semi-guided hunts which are specially permitted in the White
River National Forest and Flat Tops Wilderness Area. We travel
in by horseback or mule. Our summer pack trips are
designed for you.

The
camps
consist of canvas tents with a wood stove for
warmth. Your water is provided from a clear cool
fresh mountain spring. Fire wood is cut and
stacked. We supply you with cots, tables,
propane cook stoves and lanterns right down to
the silverware. Hunting is done on foot right
from our camps. Our hunters have a great success
rate and our packers check camps regularly and
will pack your animals out in a timely manner.
Our
camps are well maintained in beautiful, remote settings and
are group exclusive.

| If you would like us
to do the cooking,
our experienced cook will "serve up" traditional
camp "grub" or with reasonable notice provide
your favorite cuisine (Prices will vary
accordingly). Our camps are from 8,000 ft. to
10,400 ft. We have drop camps for archery,
muzzle loading and the four rifle hunting
seasons. Space is limited so we book on a
first-come basis which requires a deposit of 50%
of the fee. For our hunting clientele, we
furnish license application information and help
you complete the process for pick-up upon
arrival. |

For summer enjoyment,
we offer day, weekend and weekly trips,
for fishing, progressive travel, photography or just trail
riding. The atmosphere is relaxing and beautiful and you control
the pace! This area is full of big open parks, aspens and
black timber with streams and small lakes intertwined.
There are spectacular sunsets and falling star nights. The
weather consists of everything from Warm sunny days to cold
harsh nights. The saying goes in Colorado "If you don't
like the weather just wait 30 minutes and it'll change".
There is plentiful wildlife all around and we respect that.
We have no trace camps - If we pack it in, we pack it out.
